AI Assistant

FolSec AI Assistant is the natural language layer of the FolSec platform. Security, IT and compliance teams can ask questions about file access, NTFS permissions, file inventory, Active Directory groups and anomaly records, and receive an answer in seconds without knowing which report screen to open or which filters to apply.

The assistant is built for environments where an answer has to be defensible. The AI model is used only to interpret the question. It runs on the organization's own server, never receives file contents, log records or query results, and cannot carry out a change on its own. Every permission action is presented for approval and executed with the authorization of the user who requested it.

Answers in Seconds, Not Report Builds Answers access, permission, file, group and anomaly questions asked in everyday English or Turkish. Example: "Who deleted files in the Finance folder last week?" or "Which users have access to this share?" Removes the need to know the right report screen and filter combination for every question.

Deterministic and Traceable Results Every filter, date, user name and folder path is resolved from FolSec's own records, so no figure in an answer is generated by the model. When a user, folder or date range is ambiguous, the assistant asks instead of guessing. A filter that FolSec cannot apply is stated in the answer rather than silently dropped.

Governed Actions, Not Autonomy Permission granting and removal, folder owner assignment, Active Directory group membership and group lifecycle operations can be requested in plain language. Each request is presented as a summary card showing exactly what will change, and nothing is applied until an administrator approves it. Bulk changes across multiple users and folders are prepared as a single approved operation.

Runs Inside Your Perimeter The AI model runs on the organization's own server or on a dedicated model host in the same network, and requires no internet access. Questions, file names, log records and results are never sent to an external AI service and are never used to train a model. The model receives only the text of the question; file contents and query results never reach it.

Inherits Your Authorization Model Every backend call is made with the session of the user who asked the question, so the assistant cannot return data or perform an action that the user could not perform in FolSec. Requests are rate limited per user and the module is activated through the FolSec license.

Sign-In Security Briefing Summarizes what changed since the user's last sign-in: anomalies, permission changes, group memberships and deletions. Opens the underlying record list with a single click.

Complete Audit Trail Every question and every action is written to an append-only log with the user, time, module, parameters and result. Results can be exported as CSV or Excel for audit and compliance evidence.
